JoAnn and Dick Gordon joined Champion Health and Fitness a year ago this month. They transferred to Champion when their previous club, Riverfront, shut down operations. JoAnn and Dick were nominated as Champions Among Us for their dedication to fitness. They can be seen at Champion almost every morning enjoying all activities including walking, weight lifting, playing basketball and swimming!

In the third week of January, JoAnn (79) and Dick (79) will be celebrating 57 years of marriage! In these 57 years of marriage, they have had lots to keep them busy, including 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren!

Outside of Champion, Dick & JoAnn have lots to keep them busy. Dick enjoys playing softball on a team, while JoAnn is always there to cheer him to victory.

Additionally, the couple started Camp AoWaKiya, a kid's camp, 50 years ago this summer. The camp is located on Stoney Lake, and this past summer, the camp had 1200 participants! The couple also has a motor home in which they enjoy taking camping trips around the state.

Dick & JoAnn, you are an inspiration to all of us!
